1. Information We Collect
Cloud Music collects only the minimum information necessary to provide its features:
- Usage Analytics (optional): Crash reports and anonymous usage statistics collected via Bugly / Firebase Crashlytics to help us improve stability. No personally identifiable information is included.
- Advertising Identifiers: If you use the free version with ads, Google AdMob may collect your Advertising ID (IDFA) to serve relevant ads. You can limit ad tracking in iOS Settings > Privacy > Tracking.
- Purchase Records: In-app purchase receipts are validated against Apple's servers to unlock ad-free functionality. We do not store payment information.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
- Your music files, playlists, or listening history are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted to our servers.
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials.
- We do not track your location.
3. Google Drive Integration
Cloud Music allows you to connect your Google Account to import music files stored in Google Drive. When you use this feature:
- Authentication is handled entirely by Google's OAuth 2.0 flow. Your Google credentials are never seen or stored by Cloud Music.
- We request only the read-only access scope for Google Drive (
drive.readonly) — sufficient to list and download your audio files. - We do not read, store, or transmit any Google Drive files other than those you explicitly select to import.
- Your Google OAuth token is stored securely in the iOS Keychain and used solely to communicate with Google Drive APIs on your behalf.
- You can revoke access at any time via your Google Account permissions page or from the app's Settings screen.
Cloud Music's use of Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Dropbox Integration
When you connect Dropbox, authentication is performed via the official Dropbox SDK. Access tokens are stored locally on your device. We do not access any files beyond those you choose to import.
5. Local Network & NAS Access
If you use the NAS/SMB feature, Cloud Music connects directly from your device to your home server. No data passes through our infrastructure.
6. Wi-Fi Transfer (GCD Web Server)
When you enable Wi-Fi Transfer, a local HTTP server runs on your device. Files are transferred directly between your device and other devices on the same Wi-Fi network. The server stops when you leave the screen.
7. Music Library Permission
On iOS, Cloud Music may request access to your system Music Library to read system-library tracks. This data is accessed locally and is never transmitted externally.
8. Children's Privacy
Cloud Music is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. Third-Party Services
Cloud Music integrates the following third-party SDKs, each with their own privacy practices:
- Google AdMob – Google Privacy Policy
- Bugly (Tencent) – Crash reporting
- Facebook SDK – Used only for login; no social data is collected by us
10. Data Security
OAuth tokens for cloud services are stored in the iOS Keychain, which is encrypted by the operating system. We do not have access to your device's Keychain.
11. Changes to This Policy
